During the opening weekend of Mid-American Conference action the Rockets went 1-1, losing 2-1 to Kent State on a 82nd minute goal, then earning a 2-1 win over Ohio on Sunday. Junior captain has scored in three consecutive matches, while senior netted her team-leading fifth goal on Sunday.

'I thought our team battled,' said Toledo head coach. 'We've just got to keep improving and getting better so we are ready to go on the road this weekend.' Akron (3-6-1, 0-1-1 MAC) payed a visit to 2016 MAC regular season champion Ball State on Sunday and lost a close contest, 1-0.
